CLUTCH

At this point, you've probably already seen the types of upgrades available.
Here's the general guideline that I've seen and found useful.

STAGE 1: You're basically asking for an OEM replacement.
STAGE 2: Can handle forced induction (low pressure) OR NOS.
STAGE 3: Forced Induction and/or NOS. More for track than road.
STAGE 4: Holds ALL. Track Only

For the most part, you've got to plan ahead and decide what your goals
are for your Maxima. Are you doing just bolt ons with no turbos/superchargers?
Then stage 1 will probably do the trick. Talk to the clutch manufacturer
and tell them your planned horsepower increases and mods. They can direct
you to the right type of clutch.

OK so you ordered your clutch and its sitting on the floor...

So what are all these peices?

1. Pressure Plate
2. Alignment Tool
3. Clutch Disc
4. Throwout/Release Bearing

5. How they work together?
6. What did you think of the ACT Stage 2?
